Mr. John DAVIES

John Davies is an Executive Director and department head of CBRE’s Hong Kong Institutional Investment Properties team.

John’s career in property began in 1997 with Hugh Phillips Chartered Surveyors, Cardiff, Wales. In 1999 John moved to Jones Lang LaSalle National Investments team based Birmingham, England and subsequently transferred to Jones Lang LaSalle Hong Kong in 2000. In 2006 John joined CBRE Hong Kong to set up their new Kowloon Office. Mr. Davies gained extensive experience in all aspect of property matters in the UK and HK, especially in the commercial property leasing and investment market.

John has been awarded the degree of Bachelor of Science having followed a Sandwich Honours programme in Estate Management Surveying from the University of Glamorgan, Wales, United Kingdom.

John is very enthusiastic and passionate about real estate and these basic characteristics, along with a healthy work ethic and a positive attitude towards team work are key factors he seeks from colleagues.

Outside of work he has always liked sport, especially rugby union, football, hiking and wakeboarding, however his current priority is helping his wife in taking care of their two young sons born in February 2013 and October 2014.
