Yanchen LIU (劉晏辰) is a teacher of the University General Education of CUHK. He obtained his PhD in Religious Studies from Columbia University (2022), after which he joined CUHK and CW Chu College in the same year of 2022.

With experience in teaching Western & Asian religious traditions and medieval European history, he is currently teaching In Dialogue with Humanity at CUHK. He was awarded the Vatican Film Library Mellon Fellowship, the Mellon Humanities International Travel Fellowship (Columbia University), the Heckman Stipend (Hill Museum and Manuscript Library), and the Teaching Scholars Program Fellowship (Columbia University) for his research and teaching.
