After graduation from the University of Hong Kong (BSocSc) in 1990, Alan Cheung was quickly promoted to the General Manager of Giordano Group. In 1996, he founded Grandion Industrial Ltd. (member of Grandion International Holdings Ltd.), a garment manufacturing company of which he is now the Chairman and Managing Director. Grandion specializes in apparel design, screen printing, embroidery, trimming and garments manufacturing. Its products are exported globally to Europe, Japan, Hong Kong and other Southeast Asian countries through renowned apparel retailers (e.g. Baleno, Bossini, Hang Ten, I.T & Zara), and some are sold directly to the China domestic market. Under its team’s efforts, Grandion has grown into a company with around four thousand employees. Its unique integrated apparel supply chain includes production units located in Shenzhen, Panyu, Changan and Humen in Dongguan of Guangdong Province.
