Major Events in Term 2, 2025–26

CWC Festival 2025-26

10-12 February 2026

Under the theme CWC Valentopia, the CWC Festival featured a vibrant series of activities that engaged students, teachers, alumni, and friends from across CUHK.

The Festival kicked off with the Campus Circuit North Run, carrying the meaningful message: ‘you’ll never run alone’ on life’s journey, bringing together 54 students who embraced the spirit of support and togetherness.

Festivities continued with a love themed room escape game, followed by activities such as writing wishes on lanterns and making sweet rice dumplings—a beautiful blend of culture, creativity, and community that created lasting memories.

The celebrations reached their climax on 12 February with the CWC Carnival and the Final Round of the Singing Contest.

We were especially delighted to see our non-local students and alumni participating with creative and diverse booth ideas that enriched the carnival atmosphere.

Alumni Homecoming Day and Alumni Homecoming Dinner 2025

7 March 2026

CWC set up a DIY pinwheel game booth at the University Mall, engaging returning alumni and introducing the College to the wider community. The Homecoming Dinner was attended by 21 alumni and one current student.

The dinner also marked the soft launch of the Alumni Association of CW Chu College (CWCAA), with President Mr Matthew LI sharing reflections on College life and future plans. The evening was filled with warm connections and meaningful conversations.

Photo Day 2026

20 March 2026

The event was opened by College Master Prof Suk Ying WONG, who encouraged graduands as they prepare to transition from CWC students to alumni, reminding them that their connection with the College continues beyond graduation.

The day was filled with laughter, meaningful exchanges, and treasured memories, as students shared their College journey with friends and family. We hope the friendships and connections formed will continue to grow in the years ahead.
